Mary J. Anklam, age 94, of Pickett, WI, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2016, at her home with family by her side.
Mary was born May 22, 1922, in Eureka, the daughter of Will and Mary (McGregor) Carey. On November 27, 1939, Mary married Roy Anklam and became a homemaker. Mary will always be remembered for all of her funny stories and her spunky ways. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
Survivors include her two daughters, Beverly Cady of Pickett, WI, Marianne Lesniak of Ripon, WI; her sister, Laverne Thompson of Hudson, FL; her eight grandchildren, Dawn Anklam Thiel of Pickett, WI, Lori Stadler of Oshkosh, WI, Lisa Cluppert of Fairwater, WI, Alan Cady of Fisk, WI, Kevin Cady of Omro, WI, Kathy Crook of Oshkosh, WI, Kelly Rennert of Oshkosh, WI, Sally Brewer of Ripon, WI; her five great-grandchildren, Nicole Deaver of Fairwater, WI, Dalton Thiel of Pickett, WI, Spencer Thiel of Pickett, WI, Karly Stadler of Oshkosh, WI, Travis Stadler of Oshkosh, WI, and fifteen other great-grandchildren; her nine great-great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Roy Anklam and her grandson Scot Cady.
Per Marys request there will be no service. Inurnment will take place on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Eureka Cemetery in the Town of Rushford. A memorial is being established in her name.
