Mary was born April 12, 1925, in Ripon, WI, the daughter of Eugene and Clara Halstead. She graduated from Ripon High School. In 1950, Mary married Chester Burton. She was a member of the Women's Bowling Association.
Survivors include one daughter, Judy Stimler; her mother, Mrs. Clara Halstead of Ripon; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Brown of Menominee Falls and Mrs. Clarence Prellwitz of Ripon and three brothers, George of Berlin, William of Princeton and Calvin of Oroville, CA.
Friends may call on Sunday, December 5, 1954, after 12:00 pm noon at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Mary will be held on Monday, December 6, 1954, at 2:00 pm at Butzin Funeral Home with The Reverend E.E. Schieler officiating. Interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
