Mary K. Doman, age 85, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 1986, at Parkview Nursing Home in Ripon.
Mary was born July 12, 1900, in Illinois, the daughter of Fredrick and Gertrude (Southwick) Kingsland. She was educated at Milwaukee Downer, then graduated from Ripon College and then she was a graduate of the University of Chicago in 1921. Mary worked as a Ripon High School teacher and director of Ripon Youth Center and past leader of Ripon Girl Scouts. She was the past State President of AAUW and Life Member, member of Study Club and Ripon Library Ladies and John Scott Horner Chapter Ripon D.A.R.
Survivors include one son, Charles of Atlanta; one daughter, Diana D. Suckow of Lake Bluff, Il and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18, 1986, at 2:30 pm at First Congregational Church in Ripon with Reverend Allan Martling officiating. Inurnment will be held at Hillside Cemetery in Ripon. A memorial has been established for the Library Ladies.
