Mary Ellen Cutter, age 67, of Janesville, WI, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2016, after a long fight against cancer at Agrace Hospice Madison, with her son and granddaughter, Benjamin and April Witkowski, by her side.
Mary Ellen was born August 16, 1948, in Berlin, the daughter of Louis and Freida (Ninneman) Nechkash. She received her education in Berlin, and helped take care of her husband and mother for many years. On December 24, 1983, Mary Ellen married Richard M. Cutter in Berlin. She enjoyed spending her time crocheting, gardening, baking, and spending time with family. She also enjoyed Christmas time, her favorite time of the year.
Survivors include her children, Benjamin (Tricia) Witkowski of Milton, WI, Diane (Jim) Boese of Ripon, WI; her three grandchildren, April Witkowski of Edgerton, WI, Josh Boese of Ripon, WI, Grant Boese of Ripon, WI; her brothers and sisters, Phyllis Kiersten, Jake (Val) Nechkash, Charles (Kathleen) Nechkash, Joan (John) Datta, Carol (Bob) Dych, Kathleen (Jeff) Bartlet, William (Jackie) Nechkash, Louis (Janice) Nechkash, Thomas (Marcia) Nechkash; Stepchildren, Cindy, Michael, Brian, Danny; and grandchildren. Mary Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Freida; her husband, Richard; her sisters, Rosie Davis, Donna Nordmark; her brother, Pete Nechkash.
Visitation for Mary Ellen Cutter will be held Thursday, July 21, 2016, from 4 – 7pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971 and again on Friday, July 22, 2016, from 10 – 11am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home.
Funeral Service for Mary Ellen Cutter will be held Friday, July 22, 2016, at 11am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home. Reverend Robert A. Fictum will officiate. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon. Luncheon to follow at Nepeuskun Town Hall, 1475 County Rd E, Ripon, WI 54971. Guests may bring a dish to pass. A memorial is being established.
