Mary E. Gibbs, age 74, Fond du Lac, WI, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2014, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.
Mary was born April 16, 1940, in Darlington, WI, the daughter of John and Hazel (Lane) Richter. She graduated from Belmont High School in Belmont, WI. In 1954, Mary married Donald Reisen and then they divorced. Then in 1976, Mary married Andy Gibbs in Indianapolis, IN. She was a homemaker but also worked as an Avon Lady and at the Weinberg Shoe Factory in Beaver Dam.
Survivors include five sons, Mark Reisen of Kiel, WI, Gene Reisen of Ripon, WI, Joe (Brenda Ott) Reisen of Ripon, WI, Greg (Vicki) Reisen of Waupun, WI and Kurt (Eileen) Reisen of Ripon, WI; nine grandchildren, Nicole Reisen of Chicago, IL, Ben Reisen of Beaver Dam, WI, Alicia Reisen of Waupun, WI, Ryan Reisen of Manitowoc, WI, Kelly Schramm of Two Rivers, WI, Skyann Reisen of Ripon, WI, Jennifer and Eric Hennricks both of Ripon, WI and Shane Hennricks of Lake Mills, WI; five great-grandchildren, Dylan Resop of Ripon, WI, Gage Hennricks of Ripon, WI, Holden Frei of Ripon, WI and Evelyn and Philip Hennricks both of Lake Mills, WI; one sister, Donna Reisen of Rockford, IL, the father of her children, Donald Reisen and two nieces and one nephew. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Andy Gibbs and one grandson, Nic Hennricks.
Visitation for Mary will be held Thursday, December 11, 2014, from 12 – 1:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral service for Mary will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2014, at 1:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Reverend Gary Zacharias will officiate. Interment will follow at Garden of the Cross in Ripon. Memorials may be directed to Terrace Shores Evangelical Free Church, PO Box 434, Markesan, WI 53946.
