Mary L. Lenz, age 88, formerly of Green Lake, died Sunday, July 1, 2001, at the Markesan Resident Home in Markesan.
She was born August 18, 1912, in Waterloo, WI, the daughter of John and Marie (Rueckheim) Spudick. On December 30, 1933, she married Arnold Lenz, and he passed away in 1982. Mary had lived in Green Lake most of her life and was a member of the Federated Church of GreenLake.
Survivors include her sister, Dorothy Smith of Sister Bay; three nieces, Mary Ellen (Edward) Roth and Arlene “Teeter” Allen, both of Green Lake and Juanita Stadler of Sister Bay; one nephew, John Smith of Sister Bay; other nieces and nephews; and brother-in-law, Norbert Lenz of Green Lake. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arnold Lenz and two sisters, Phoebe and Eileen.
Funeral service for Mary L. Lenz will be 11 am on Thursday, July 5, 2001, at the Federated Church of Green Lake with Reverend Karen Gygax Rodriguez officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 10 – 11:00 am. Interment will be in Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake. Memorials to the Federated Church of Green Lake.
