Mary Jean Novitske, age 58, of 417 Murray Park Dr. Ripon, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2006 at U.W. Hospital in Madison.

Mary was born on November 11, 1948, in Ripon, the daughter of Fred and Alice (Krueger) Loechelt. She was a 1967 graduate of Ripon High School. Mary worked for several years at the M&I Ripon State Bank and certainly loved her current job at Ripon Medical Center for the past 18 years as a medical transcriptionist. She was a life long member of Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon.

Survivors include her son, Josh Novitske of Fond du Lac; daughter, Jennifer (Eric) Stobb of Appleton; she is further survived by 2 nephews, Dave (Karen) Duehring of Green Lake and Jim (Gisele) Duehring of Amarallo, TX and niece, Linda (Darwin) Pionke of Waupaca.

Mary will also be greatly missed by her long time friend and companion of 16 years, Dennis Valstad; she will also be missed by her friends and co-workers at Ripon Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister and brother-in-law, Myrtle and Norman Duehring.

Visitation for Mary Novitske will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2007 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, Ripon

Memorial Service for Mary Novitske will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church with Reverend Sandy Krynik officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date. A memorial has been established.
