Mary E. "Betty" Partington, age 68, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 1984 at University Hospitals, Madison, WI.
Mary was born on February 10, 1916 in Union Springs, NY, the daughter of Elizer and Flora (Hobson) Partington. She graduated from Earlham College in Richmond, IN, class of 1937, and went on to become a Primary Public School Teacher. She has lived in Columbus OH and has been in Ripon for the past 6 years. Mary was a member of First Congregational Church of Ripon, Bradford Circle, Ripon Science Club, A.A.R.P., A.A.U.W., Ripon Senior Center, and West Richmond Friends Church. She was never married.
Visitation for Mary will be held from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Friday, February 17, 1984 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, WI.
Funeral services for Mary will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 18, 1984, at the First Congregational Church in Ripon, with Reverend Allan Martling officiating. Interment will take place at Earlham Cemetery in Richmond, IN. A memorial has been established in her name.
