Mary Peterson

Mary A. Peterson, 77, of 809 South St., Green Lake, entered into Eternal Life on March 10, 2002, at St Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton.

She was born November 8, 1924, in Minneapolis, MN, the daughter of Charles N. and Eleanor J. (Calder) Stewart. After graduating from St Margaret’s Academy, she attended the University of Minnesota. On September 6, 1947, she married Edward F. Peterson in Minneapolis. Mary worked as an accountant for Jeron Corp. in Lake Bluff, IL for many years. For the last 17 years, she had lived in Green Lake where she worked part-time at the Green Lake Area Chamber of Commerce. Mrs. Peterson was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Green Lake.

Survivors include her husband, Edward Peterson of Green Lake; children, Catherine Peterson of Telluride, CO, John (Lisa) Peterson of Bemidji, MN, James (Amy) Peterson of Rochester Hills, MI, Mary Rowley of Green Lake and Edward Peterson both of Green Lake; 12 grandchildren, Phillip Peterson, Tara Peterson, Jonathan Rowley, Nick Rowley, Samantha Rowley, Mitchell Rowley, Katie Peterson, Jesse Peterson, Elan Price, Noah Price, Calen MaCracken and Ian MaCracken; and brother, Thomas (Lil) Stewart of AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Mary A. Peterson will be offered at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2002, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Father Philip Krogman officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Inurnment will follow at Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake.
