Mary Y. Utberg, age 90, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016, at Copperleaf Village in Ripon, WI.
Mary was born on May 1, 1926, daughter of Walter and Charlotte (Hutchison) Nash, in Elroy, WI. She graduated high school in Merrillan, WI, and in 1950, she married Robert Utberg in Eau Claire, WI. Mary loved to knit, and was involved in a neighborly Knitting Club in Altoona, WI. She was also a proud member of a Birthday Club, in Altoona as well.
Mary is survived by her children; Daniel (Wendy) Utberg of Randolph, NJ, and Marianne (William) Reininger of Green Lake, WI; grandchildren: Bryanna Utberg of Randolph, NJ, Emma (Nick) Holtan of Bloomington, MN, Nash Reininger of Oshkosh, WI, and Grace Reininger of Green Lake, WI; and a sister, Charlotte Knutson of Tomah, WI. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; and a sister, Dorothy Nunn.
A celebration of life service will follow at a later date in Eau Claire, WI. Inurnment will take place in Forest Hill Cemetery in Eau Claire.
