Maureen Lucille Fisch

Maureen L. Fisch, age 87, of Ripon, WI, passed away with her family by her side on Friday, June 16, 2023, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac, WI. 

Maureen was born May 10, 1936 in Stanley, WI, the daughter of Philip and Helen (Etten) LaBlanc. On December 28, 1963, Maureen married Giles Fisch and together they owned and operated Good Times Bar in Ripon for many years. Maureen was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Ripon. She enjoyed traveling, with many trips to Florida and the casinos. She also was an avid Packer and Brewer fan. Most of all, she enjoyed her family. She loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren, attending as many of their school and sporting events as possible over the years. 

Maureen is survived by her son, Mike (Amy) Fisch and their son Miles all of Ripon; two daughters, Karen Hubbard of Milwaukee, WI and Leigh (Chris) Gatzke and their children, Jay, Riley and Libby all of Ripon; sister, Sharone Zielke; brother, Robert (Grace) LaBlanc; in-laws, Mary Meyer, Bill Fisch and Terryl Becker; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Maureen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Giles Fisch; parents, Philip and Helen LaBlanc; father and mother-in-law, Joseph and Margaret Fisch; stepfather-in-law, Michael Simon; in-laws, Ron E. Zielke, Leon (Elaine) Fisch, Francis (Barb) Fisch, Robert (Helen) Fisch, Valerie (John) Rabiego, William Becker and Dale Meyer; and a memorable family member that shared her birthday, Melissa Zielke. 

Visitation for Maureen will be held on Friday, July 14, 2023 from 9 – 11:00 am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 228 Blossom St., Ripon, WI 54971. 

Memorial Mass for Maureen will be held on Friday, July 14, 2023 at 11:00 am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, with Fr. Jim Leary, OFM Cap officiating.  You may view a livestream of the mass at 11:00 am at www.facebook.com/stcatherineripon. Inurnment will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Town of Ripon, WI. A memorial is being established in her name.
