Meita E. Page, age 95, of Ripon, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2009, at Fountain View Care Center in Ripon, WI.
Meita was born on February 23, 1913, in Ripon, the daughter of Charles and Hulda (Bandt) Kuehn. She graduated from Ripon High School and on November 1, 1941, Meita married Ardin Page at Immanuel Church in Ripon. She enjoyed being a homemaker, working on the family farm, gardening, crocheting. She was an active member of Immanuel United Methodist Church. Meita mostly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include two daughters, Jean (James) Hinstorff of Fort Atkinson, WI, Marilyn (Michael) Wuest of Ripon, WI; four grandchildren, Jennifer (Brian) Wrightman of Apple Valley, MN; Jonathan (Marcia) Wuest of Port Byron, IL; Melissa (Ryan) Stobbe of Green Lake, WI, and Jaclyn (Nicholas) Saeger of Las Vegas, NV; three great-granddaughters, Elizabeth Wrightman, Linnea Wuest, and Mattea Wuest; and many nieces and nephews. Meita was preceded in death by her husband; parents; four brothers, Walter, Fred, Ben, and Clarence Kuehn; and four sisters, Agnes Kuehn, Laura Wille, Grace Rispalje, and Verna Tavs Wille.
Visitation for Meita Page will be held on Monday, February 23, 2009, from 4 – 7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon and again on Tuesday, February 24, 2009, from 10 – 11:00 am at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Meita Page will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2009, at 11:00 am at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon. Reverend Paul W. Nulton will be officiating. Internment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon. A memorial has been established in her name.
