Melvin A. Coles, age 73, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Monday, March 25, 1991, at Mercy Medical Center, Oshkosh.
He was born July 12, 1917, in Marshall, WI, a son to Hugo and Helena Coles. He had been employed at Ripon Foods.
Survivors include his wife Bonnie Voight whom he married January 31, 1970. Also surviving are two sons, Jon and Kevin Coles, both at home; seven daughters, Jean (Don) Hale of Oconomowoc, JoLee (Jim) Heiman of Marshall, Judy (John) Pfalzgraf of Oshkosh, Jan (Jim) Kowalewski of New Berlin, Jayne (Don) Beier of Berlin, Michelle (Kyle) Beilke of Ripon and Tonya Coles at home; nineteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one sister, Leona Parr. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lucille and one sister, Louisa.
Friends may call on the family on Thursday, March 28, 1991 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Services for Mr. Coles will be held Friday, March 29, 1991 at 9:30 a.m. at Our Saviours United Church of Christ, Ripon. The Reverend James D. Mohr will officiate. Interment will follow in the Fairwater Cemetery, Fairwater.
