Melvin Ray Hahn, age 47, of Silver Creek, Nebraska, formerly of Ripon, WI, passed away on Monday, November 16, 1987, at Columbus Community Hospital in Columbus, Nebraska.

Melvin was born February 26, 1940, in Ripon, WI, the son of Alfred and Grace (Peschke) Hahn. He married Donna Hays on June 1, 1978 in Winona, Minnesota. Melvin worked as a truck driver and a farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Donna; two sons, David of Markesan and Joel of Ripon; one daughter, Linda Walker of Cambria; one sister, Marilyn Perr of Ripon and his parents.

Visitation for Melvin will be held on Thursday, November 19, 1987, from 5 – 7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.

Funeral Service for Melvin will be held on Thursday, November 19, 1987, at 7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with Reverend Harley C.W. Tretow officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Ripon.
