Melvin F.A. Schattschneider, age 89, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 1991, at the Wisconsin Home in King where he had resided for many years.
He was born March 26, 1902, in Ripon, a son to Frederick and Lizzie (Dornbrook) Schatzschneider.
He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was a member of the American Legion in Ripon. He was a farm hand and had lived in the Ripon area most of his life.
Survivors include one brother, LeRoy (Jessie) Schattschneider of Green Lake and one sister, Viola (Harvey) Penke of Ripon.
Friends may call Monday, August 12, 1991, from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of services at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home.
Funeral Services for Melvin Schattschneider will be held Monday, August 12, 1991, at 2:00 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Ripon.
