Merle Sauer Olson, age 86, passed away Tuesday evening, November 30, 2004, at All About Life in Fond du Lac.
She was born September 12, 1918, in Trenton, WI, a daughter to Herman and Nellie Gleffe Sauer. On September 3, 1940, she married Marvin Olson in Ripon, and was a member of the Federated Church of Green Lake.
Survivors include 1 brother, Robert Sauer of Ripon; 1 sister, Mary Hare of Ripon; grandchildren, Traci Goodwin of Bloomington, MN, Toni Zamzow of Fond du Lac, and Tami Martz of Waupun; and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1968, and 1 son, Lauren in 1990.
Visitation will be Friday, December 3, 2004 from 1-2 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Karen Gygax Rodriguez officiating. Interment will be in Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake. A memorial has been established.
