Meta Gehrke

Meta Alma Gehrke, age 67, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Monday, April 8, 1957, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.
Meta was born December 17, 1889, in the Town of Nepeuskun, WI, the daughter of Rudolph and Henrietta (Draeger) Badke. She was educated in Oshkosh. On April 22, 1908, Meta married Herman Gehrke.
Survivors include her husband, Herman; one daughter, Mrs. Forest Weishaar of Ripon; two sons, Arnold of Rush Lake and Gordon of Pickett; five grandchildren and one brother, Ernest Badke of Pickett. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
Friends may call on Wednesday, April 10, 1957, after 3:00 pm at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Meta will be held on Thursday, April 11, 1957, at 2:00 pm at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church with The Reverend E.E. Schieler officiating. Interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Ripon.
