Michael W. Drees, age 24, of 2009 Grove Street, Oshkosh, died April 8, 2003, at his parents’ home.
He was born February 5, 1979, in Milwaukee, the son of Walter and Ann (Wilfert) Drees. He graduated from Laconia High School in Rosendale, and attended UW-River Falls in River Falls. Michael enjoyed video games, computers, shooting darts, reading and writing. He was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Ripon.
Survivors include his parents, Walter and Ann of Rosendale; 1 sister, Kristy at home; maternal grandmother, Shirley Wilfert of Two Rivers; several uncles, aunts, many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, maternal grandfather; and 1 sister, Dayna.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 12, 2003, at St Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Ripon with Reverend Robert A. Fictum officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 9-11 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in Rosendale Cemetery.
