*Update* Michael F. Engh

Michael "Mike" F. Engh, age 81, passed away peacefully January 11, 2024 in Sun City West, AZ.

Mike was born September 19, 1942 in LaCrosse, WI to Forrest and Ethel (Burns) Engh. He graduated from Aquinas High School in LaCrosse. He joined the Air Force and served at Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha, NE for four years.

Mike served as an Air Force Policeman. He belonged to the SAC Drill Team. An elite group of men that had the honor of presiding over military funerals with the gun salute. And an elite precision drill team preforming during parades all over the United States.

Returning to LaCrosse he graduated from the University of LaCrosse in 1969. He went to work for Speed Queen/Alliance Laundry where he stayed for 39 years working in home and international commercial laundry sales. After retiring in 2008 he and his wife purchased their desert cabin in Arizona. Soaking up the sunshine and a game of golf, or two, or three.

Mike is survived by his wife, Carol of 49 years; children, Timothy (Kristin) Engh of Neenah, WI, Steven Engh of Green Bay, WI; two amazing grandchildren, Jack and Harvey; siblings, Joan (Larry) Flax of Los Angeles, CA, and Peter Engh of LaCrosse, WI. He was preceded in death by his father, Forrest; mother, Ethel; in-laws, Merle and Marge Macy, from Vermillion, SD.

Visitation for Mike will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 12:00 until 2:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.

A prayer service for Mike will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, with Fr. Jim Leary, OFM Cap officiating. A final salute with full military honors will take place at the funeral home immediately following the service.
