Michael A. Gorecki

Michael A. Gorecki, age 73, of Adell, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac, WI.

Mike was born in Milwaukee, WI on April 15, 1951, son of Gilbert and Florence (Tetzlaff) Gorecki. He graduated from Milwaukee Boy’s Tech High School and went on to serve our country in the U.S. Air Force. In 1975 he married Mary Jane Ivy in Milwaukee. Mike was a painter for the buildings and bridges department of the City of Milwaukee most of his life. He was a busy body and hard worker, always keeping busy with his talents around the house. In his spare time Mike enjoyed fishing and deer hunting. He took pride in decorating their house for Christmas, and one year even made the news for the impressive job he did. Mike loved music, especially The Beatles and was known for his unmistakable and infectious laugh.

Mike is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Gorecki; sons, Mark (Jackie) Gorecki and Joseph Wipijewski; grandchildren, Cecelia, Mark, Melody, and Eric; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Florence Gorecki and a daughter, Lisa Ivy-Hudson. 

Per Mike’s wishes, no funeral services will be held. A family celebration of life will take place in the future.
