Michael L. Steinberg, age 39, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 1986, at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh.
Michael was born March 13, 1947, in Ripon, WI, the son of Paul and Bernice (Hollman) Steinberg, Jr. He was educated in Ripon. On August 11, 1972, Michael married Rebecca Durkee in Oshkosh. He worked as a painter at Speed Queen in Ripon. Michael was a member of the Wisconsin National Guard for 21 years and a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca; one son, Michael Jr. at Home; one daughter, Michelle at home; mother, Bernice Miller of Ripon; one brother, Dennis of Oshkosh and two sisters, Joann (Johann) Costello of Oshkosh and Carol (David) Gray of Waupun. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Steinberg, Jr.
Visitation for Michael will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 1986, from 3:30 to 8:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Michael will be held on Thursday, May 22, 1986, at 11:00 am at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon with Reverend Dieter Tometten officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
