Mrs. Mildred C. Cook, age 72, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Monday, April 30, 1990, at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center, Neenah.
She was born March 26, 1918, in Oshkosh, a daughter of Herman and Martha (Rabhel) Schwanke. On October 30, 1937, she married Harry Cook. He preceded her in death on July 21, 1981. Mrs. Cook was educated in Omro. She was a housewife and had resided in Ripon the last eighteen years.
Survivors include four sons, Robert (Pam) of Beaver Dam, Lester of Wild Rose, Edwin of Oshkosh, and Victor (Mary) of Omro; one daughter, Carol (Melvin) Quick of Wild Rose; fourteen grandchildren, one great- grandson; one brother, Alvin (Mavis) Schwanke of Pickett, and one sister, June Schwanke of Montello. Preceding her in death were her husband, two sons, Dennis and Alvin, and one daughter, Mary Jane Cook, two sisters, Irene Schultz and Ruth Fulger, and two brothers, Milton and Norm Schwanke.
Friends may call Wednesday, May 2, 1990, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, May 3, 1990 at 1:30 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with the Rev. Dean Peterson officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon.
