Mildred Kopitzke

Mildred Jane Kopitzke, age 89, of Pickett, WI, passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at her home with her family by her side.
Mildred was born July 19, 1922, in Dale, WI, the daughter of Albert and Lydia (Spiegelberg) Laabs. She graduated from high school in Dale and married Leonard T. Kopitzke. Mildred was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Pickett and was also a member of the Ladies Aid.
Survivors include one daughter, Karen (Gary) Salzman; one son, Lynn (Barb) Kopitzke; five grandchildren, Garrick Salzman, Grace Kopitzke, Grant Kopitzke, Ryan (Kim) Ross and Tyler Ross; sister, Erma (Marvin) Potratz; brother, Albert (Geneva) Laabs; sister-in-law, Dorothy Laabs; brother-in-law, Raymond Posselt and many nieces and nephews. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leonard, on April 15, 2009; brother, Orville Laabs and sister, Loma Jean Posselt.
Visitation for Mildred Kopitzke will be held on Sunday, March 25, 2012, from 1 – 2:00 pm at Grace Lutheran Church, 502 County Rd. M, Pickett, WI 54964.
Funeral service for Mildred Kopitzke will be held on Sunday, March 25, 2012, at 2:00 pm at Grace Lutheran Church, 502 County Rd. M, Pickett, WI 54964. Pastor Jud Krohn will officiate. Interment will take place on Monday, March 26, 2012, at Liberty Prairie Cemetery in the Town of Utica. A memorial is being established.
