Mildred L. Siewert, age 97, of Ripon, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2007, in Oshkosh.

Mildred was born in Milladore, WI, on November 22, 1909 the daughter of Julius and Pauline (Berndt) Quast. She attended school in Ripon and on June 10, 1931, she married Lawrence Louis Siewert. Mildred was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon.

Survivors include her children; Carol (Donald) Stratton of Morristown, TN, Marilyn (Edward) Waldoch of Franklin, WI, Dale (Myrna Jane) Siewert of Lexington, KY, Lynette (Gary) Bahr of Oshkosh, WI. 10 grandchildren; Audrey (Michael) Turley of Morristown, TN, Russell (Lucie) Stratton of Colchester, VT, Richard (Stephanie) Stratton of Westerville, OH, D’Etta Waldoch of Brookfield, WI, Laurie (Daniel) Schweitzer of Franklin, WI, Perry Siewert of Venice, CA, Andrew (Amy) Siewert and Holly (James) Petro both of Lexington, KY, Matthew (Lanay) Bahr, Newport News, VA, and Christopher Bahr, Oshkosh, WI. 13 great-grandchildren Frank and Heather Pease, Tyler, Elizabeth, Eric, Elissa Stratton, Cpl. Jared Koser and Andrew Koser, Kelly and Kayla Schweitzer, Megan and Mason Siewert and Aidan Petro. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lawrence Louis Siewert, two sisters, and one brother.

Visitation for Mildred L. Siewert will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2007 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon.

Funeral services for Mildred L. Siewert will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with Reverend Mark R. West officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon. Memorials can be given in her name to Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon
