Mildred Clara Wilke, age 85, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 1992, at her home.
Mildred was born April 12, 1906, in Fond du Lac. She was educated in Ripon and was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon and the church guild. For many years she clerked at Schultz Brothers Variety Store in Ripon. She was active in the Harmonica Rascals at the Senior Citizens Center. Her husband, Herman Carl Wilke preceded her in death on September 10, 1967.
Survivors include her son, Douglas E. Toll of Frankfurt-Ban Soden, Germany; three grandchildren, Erich, Tristina and Heidi all of Los Angeles, CA and one brother, Carroll Schattschneider of Ripon.
Friends may call Monday, January 6, 1992, from 5 – 7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral service for Mrs. Wilke will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 1992, at 11:00 am at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ with Reverend James D. Mohr officiating. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery in Ripon. A memorial has been established for Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ.
