Milo C. Klawitter, age 93, of Ripon died Saturday, August 25, 2001, at Ripon Medical Center.
Milo was born December 4, 1907, in Ripon, a son to Fred and Anna (Krause) Kiawitter. On September 28, 1938, he married Birdelle McAuly in Ripon. He farmed in the Ripon area his entire life, and received an award from Fond du Lac County for being the oldest active farmer.
Survivors include; his wife, Birdelle Klawitter of Ripon; one son, Leslie (Helen) Kiawitter of Rush Lake; one daughter, Darlene (Donato) Reyes of Fox Lake; five grandchildren, Bruce, Terry, Peter, Becky, and Christopher; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Hazel Rozek of Ripon; several nieces and nephews, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, August 29, 2001 at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 30, 2001, at the funeral home with Rev. Rebecca A. Johnston officiating. Interment will be at Loper Cemetery. A memorial has been established.
