Mina E. Katzur, age 97, died Thursday, March 4, 1999, at Bethel Home in Oshkosh, WI.
Mina was born on August 10, 1901, in Brookfield, WI, the daughter of August and Augusta (Gerth) Trapp. She attended grade school in Fisk and graduated from high school in Milwaukee and attended Milwaukee School of Nursing. On November 11, 1928, she married William Katzur of Pickett, and they made their home in Utica Township. She was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Pickett and the Ladies Aid of the church. She was a long time employee of Sunnyview Sanatorium in Oshkosh. Mina enjoyed being part of the Pickett Senior Citizens Center.
Surviving Mina are two children, Ellsworth Bud (Dorothy) Katzur of Pickett and Doloris Johnson of Oshkosh; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and special friends, Doris Peterson and Harriet Morehouse. She was preceded in death by her husband on December 9, 1968, her parents, two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral service for Mina Katzur will be held on Monday, March 8, 1999, at 2:00 pm at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Pickett with Pastor Russell W. Kloehn officiating.
Friends may call on Monday from 11:00 am until the time of the service at the church. Inurnment will follow at a later date at Liberty Prairie Cemetery, Pickett. A memorial has been established in her name.
