Minnie Adkins, age 85, of Rosendale, WI, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 1957, at the home of her daughter, Lois Saphner in Rosendale.
Minnie was born May 29, 1871, in Ripon, WI, the daughter of Charles and Wilhelmina (Sanders) Burr. She was educated in Ripon Schools. on April 4, 1901, Minnie married Marshall Vernon Adkins.
Survivors include one daughter, Louis Sapner of Rosendale; one son, Chester B. Adkins of Milwaukee; two granddaughters and two great-grandsons and one sister, Mrs. William Butler of Ripon. She was preceded in death by her husband who died in 1942 and one son.
Friends may call on Monday, May 27, 1957, after 2:00 pm at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Minnie will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 1957, at 2:00 pm at Butzin Funeral Home with The Reverend Harold Chamberlain officiating. Interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Ripon.
