Minnie Hammer, age 61, of Ripon, WI passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 1951 at Ripon Municipal Hospital.
Minnie was born in Lomira, WI on January 30, 1890, the daughter of Ferdinand and Wilhelmina (Sohre) Manske. She was educated in Lomira, and has resided in Beaver Dam before moving to Ripon in 1944. On November 29, 1916 she married Albert Hammer in Beaver Dam. Albert was a third ward alderman.
Minnie is survived by her husband, Albert Hammer of Ripon, WI; a son, Albert, Jr. of Denver, CO; one daughter, Alice Dornfeld of Ripon, WI; five grandsons; a brother, Charles Manske of Matoon, WI; and one sister, Mrs. Alvin Derge of Beaver Dam. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ferdinand and Wilhelmina Manske; and four sisters.
Visitation for Minnie will be held from 6:00 pm on Wednesday, December 5, 1951 until 11:00 am on Friday, December 7, 1951 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, and again from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm on Friday, December 7, 1951 at Scott Street Church in Ripon.
Funeral service for Minnie will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, December 7, 1951 at Scott Street Church in Ripon, with Reverend E.E. Schieler officiating. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in Ripon.
