Minnie was born on October 12, 1941 in Dodge County, the daughter of John and Minnie (Buwalda) Evers. She graduated from Cambria High School, and on May 20, 1967 she married Wayne Rahn. Minnie worked at the Cambria State Bank as a teller and than at Rippin Foods as a cookie packer. She was a member of Hillside Assembly Church in Ripon.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne Rahn of Ripon; one son, Darrian Rahn of Waupaca; one daughter, Sherry (Karl) Kastenschmidt of Pardeeville; three grandchildren, James Ford, Jacob Martin, Jessica Kastenschmidt; two sisters, Margaret (Elwood) Rahn of Randolph and Fran (Harold) DeVries of Randolph; one brother, John Jr. (Jane) Evers of Columbus; and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Minnie was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Dena, Janet, Anna, and Catherine Kate; and three brothers, Edward, William, and Tom.
Visitation for Minnie Rahn will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2008 from 9-11:00 a.m. at Hillside Assembly Church in Ripon.
Funeral service for Minnie Rahn will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hillside Assembly Church in Ripon, with the Reverend Donald Deike officiating. Interment will follow in Randolph Cemetery, Town of Randolph. A memorial has been established in her name.
