Minnie Greta Resheske, age 85, of Ripon, WI, passed away on December 1, 1986, at Parkview Nursing Home in Ripon.
Minnie was born September 10, 1901, in Wautoma, WI, the daughter of Frank and Amelia (Pomplun) Wagner. On June 5, 1923, she married John V. Resheske until his death on December 23, 1959. Minnie worked as a housewife and a former cook at the college. She was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon, the Ladies Guild, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the VFW Auxiliary and the Royal Neighbors Auxiliary.
Survivors include one niece, Mildred Clark of Oshkosh and two nephews, Willis Wagner of Ripon and Harvey Stelter of Utica, MI. She was preceded in death by her husband, five brothers and two sisters.
Visitation for Minnie will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 1986, from 4 – 9:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with an American Legion Auxiliary Service at 7:30 pm.
Funeral Service for Minnie will be held on Thursday, December 4, 1986, at 1:30 pm at the Chapel of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ with Reverend Harley C.W. Tretow officiating. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Ripon. A memorial has been established.
