Minnie "Shorty" Hins

Minnie “Shorty” Hins, age 90, of Ripon, WI, passed away on August 12, 1993, at Parkview Care Center, Ripon.
She was born on May 1, 1903, in the Town of Rosendale, the daughter of Henry and Minnie (Zinzow) Harms. She was educated in the Town of Rosendale. She married Raymond Hins on August 9, 1926. “Shorty” clerked at a variety store in Ripon and was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church, Ripon.
In addition to her husband Ray, she is survived by three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one daughter, four sisters, and two brothers.
Funeral services will be Sunday afternoon, August 15, 1993 at 3:00 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. The Reverend Howard Ott will officiate. Interment will be in Garden of the Cross Cemetery, Ripon. Visitation is from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
A memorial has been established for Immanuel United Methodist Church.
