Minnie Weix, age 78, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 1952, at her home.
Minnie was born February 23, 1874, in the Town of Green Lake, WI, the daughter of John and Emma (Fortnum) Nichols. On September 19, 1900, she married Joseph Weix at Green Lake Center. For many years, Minnie was active in the Green Lake Center Methodist Church, serving as Sunday School Superintendent and other church offices.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. William Buchholz of Berlin and Bernice Weix of Green Lake; one son, Leonard of Green Lake; three grandchildren, Mrs. Lyle Henslin of Fond du Lac, and Shirley and Billy Buchholz of Berlin and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, three sisters and one brother.
Friends may call on Thursday, August 7, 1952, after 6:00 pm at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Minnie will be held on Saturday, August 9, 1952, at 2:00 pm at Butzin Funeral Home with The Reverend John Wagner officiating. Interment will take place at Green Lake Center Cemetery in the Town of Green Lake.
