Minnie Werdin, age 77, of Ripon, WI passed away on Saturday, September 17, 1955 at her home.
Minnie was born in Columbus, WI on February 21, 1878, the daughter of William and Johanna (Schmoechel) Deglow. She married Paul Werdin in Columbus on April 18, 1906. Paul passed away on November 26, 1949. Minnie was a charter member of Ripon Eagles Auxiliary and has resided in Columbus, Horican, and Ripon for 45 years.
Minnie is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Ernest Wollerman of Rosendale, WI; a son, Harold Werdin of Oshkosh, WI; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ida Seegert of Horican, WI, Mrs. Harvey Langley of Beaver Dam, WI and Emma Lange of Fall River, WI; and two brothers, John and William Deglow both of Beaver Dam, WI. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Werdin; and a son.
Visitation for Minnie will be held from 6:00 pm on Sunday, September 18, 1955 until 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 20, 1955 at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon, and again from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm on Tuesday, September 20, 1955 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon.
Funeral service for Minnie will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, September 20, 1955 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon, with Reverend E.E. Schieler officiating. Interment will take place at Rosendale Cemetery, Rosendale, WI.
