Modesta "Marie" Miller

Modesta “Marie” Miller, age 73, of Rosendale, WI, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2013, at Waupun Memorial Hospital.
Marie was born September 14, 1939, in Fond du Lac, WI, the daughter of Harley and Edith (Revolta) Austin. She graduated from Goodrich High School in Fond du Lac. On August 30, 1958, Marie married Henry “Hank” Miller in Benton, TX. She was employed as an asphalt plant manager. Marie was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Rosendale, Wisconsin Honey Producers, Dodge and Jefferson Counties Beekeepers Association and the Rosendale Historical Society.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Hank of Rosendale, WI; three daughters, Kim Pinch (Terry Roffman) of Ripon, WI, Kay Lange (Dennis Burke) of Bloomington, MN and Sandy Respalje (Todd) of Fairwater, WI; son, Jim Titel (Mardi) of Fond du Lac, WI; grandchildren, Nicole Neubauer (Ryan) of Tampa, FL, Dawn Wright (Otis) of Milwaukee, WI, Joshua Miller of Fond du Lac, WI, Jamie Pinch (Ed Kohlman) of Rogersville, WI, Alyssa and Carly Pinch both of Oshkosh, WI, Bailey Pinch of Rosendale, WI, Hannah and Modesta Roffman both of Ripon, WI, Brooke and Bethany Lange both of South St. Paul, MN, Kyla Respalje of Green Lake, WI and Naomi Respalje of Fairwater, WI; great-grandchildren, Hannah Gardner, Hunter Neubauer, Tashay Wright, Megan Waller, Mason Pfeiffer and Adam Hodson and one brother, Monte Austin of Atlanta, GA. Modesta is preceded in death by her parents, son, Randy Miller; four brothers, Kenneth, Harley, William and John Austin and her two sisters, Lois Hawkins and Beatrice Freund.
Visitation for Marie will be held on Friday, August 23, 2013, from 3 – 7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971 and again on Saturday, August 24, 2013, from 10 – 11:00 am at Peace Lutheran Church, 124 S. Main St., Rosendale, WI 54974.
Funeral service for Marie will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2013, at 11:00 am at Peace Lutheran Church, 124 S. Main St., Rosendale, WI 54974. Reverend Charles R. Thompson will officiate. Inurnment will follow at a later date at Rosendale Cemetery in the Village of Rosendale. Marie was a 14 year cancer survivor and in her honor the family would like memorials to be directed to Cancer Treatment Centers of America.
