Mrs. Albert Griese

Mrs. Albert Griese, age 74, of Ripon, WI passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 1953 at Ripon Municipal Hospital.
Mrs. Griese was born in the Township of Ripon on December 14, 1878 the daughter of August and Henrietta (Wolgan) Sasada. She has resided in the town of Ripon and for the past 28 years in the city of Ripon. On may 2, 1900 she married Albert Griese. He passed away in 1941.
Mrs. Griese is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Adela Draves of Ripon; two granddaughters, LaVerne and Donna Mae Draves both of Ripon; two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Westphal of Ripon and Mrs. Emma Bobzin of East Delavan, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents, August and Henrietta Sasada; her husband, Albert Griese; six brothers; and one sister.
Visitation for Mrs. Griese will be held from 6:00 pm on Thursday, July 9, 1953 until 2:30 pm on Saturday, July 11, 1953 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, and again from 2:30 until 3:00 pm on Saturday, July 11, 1953 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon.
Funeral service for Mrs. Griese will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, July 11, 1953 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, with Reverend E.E. Schieler officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Ripon, WI.
