Mrs. August Diedrich

Mrs. August Diedrich, age 78 of Ripon, WI passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 1951 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alfred Buchholz.
Mrs. Diedrich was born in Horicon, WI on September 8, 1873, the daughter of August and Margerite (Koehler) Belau. She was educated in Horicon and has lived in the Ripon area the last 60 years. On November 10, 1899 she married August Diedrich in Ripon.
Mrs. Diedrich is survived by her son, Floyd Diedrich of Ripon; a daughter, Mrs. Alfred Buchholz also of Ripon; three grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Julius Heft of Waldo, WI, Mrs. Minnie Nehls, Miss Lydia Belau and Miss Emma Belau all of Ripon. She was preceded in death by her husband, August who died on January 5, 1950; and two brothers.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm Thursday, September 13, 1951 until 10:00 am on Friday, September 14, 1951 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon and again from 10:00 am until 1:30 pm on Friday, September 14, 1951 at the Methodist Church in Ripon.
Funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, September 14, 1951 at the Methodist Church in Ripon, with Rev. Lewis Douglass officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Ripon.
