Muriel Cluppert

Muriel Cluppert, age 84, of Markesan, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2008, at Ripon Medical Center in Ripon.

Muriel was born in Fond du Lac, on September 27, 1924, the daughter of John and Emily (Parks) Jennings. She graduated from Ripon High School, and on June 23, 1956 she married Arthur Walter Cluppert in Ripon. Muriel worked at the Advertisers in Ripon, as well as raising her family, and was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon, and a member of the Crossroads Home Makers.

Survivors include her three children, Larry (Audrey) Cluppert of Markesan, Timothy (Debbie) Cluppert of Ripon, and Karen (Arlando) Garza of Markesan; four grandchildren, Tina, Amanda, Dustin, and Jenny; four step grandchildren, Cameron, Christopher, Heather, and Amber; seven step great-granchildren; one twin sister, Marilyn Rueckert of Ripon; one sister, RuthAnn Cluppert of Fairwater; and nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Muriel was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, and three sisters.

Visitation for Muriel Cluppert will be held from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2008, at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon.

Funeral service for Muriel Cluppert will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2008, at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon with the Reverend Mark R. West officiating. Interment will follow in Green Lake Center Cemetery, Town of Green Lake. A memorial has been established in her name.
