Mrs. Muriel I. Johnson, 91, of 529 Woodside Ave., Ripon, died October 25, 1990, at her home.
She was born January 7, 1899, in Arlington, IL, a daughter of Warren G. and Lisa Nelson. On August 24, 1920, she married J. Martin Johnson in Chicago.
Mrs. Johnson was educated in Jacksonville, IL. She received her nurses training at Wesley Memorial in Chicago. She has resided in Ripon since 1923. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Past State President of Wisconsin Federation of Garden Clubs, a member of the Ripon Womans Club and past Girl Scout Leader. She was active in the Green Lake Property Owners Association.
Survivors include her husband; 2 daughters, Mrs. Ray (Juniet) Mair of Castle Rock, CO and Mrs. William (Joyce) Chapman of Oconomowoc; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. One grandson preceded her in death.
Funeral services for Mrs. Johnson will be held Saturday at 3 P.M. at the Dr. J. Martin Johnson Home at 529 Woodside Avenue, Ripon. The Rev. Arthur Volkmann will officiate. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Ripon.
Friends may call Saturday from 2 P.M. until the hour of services at the Johnson Home.
