Myrtle Giese, age 79, of Ripon, WI passed away on Sunday, October 18, 1987 at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
Myrtle was born on November 9, 1907 in Ripon, WI, the daughter of Louis and Johanna (Graehn) Stindt. She was educated in Ripon and was a resident of Ripon all her life. On September 14, 1929 she married Alvin Giese. Myrtle was a devoted member of Our Saviour's United Church of Christ in Ripon.
Myrtle is survived by her husband, Alvin Giese; a son, Donald of Ripon, WI; two daughters, Dorothy (Richard) Quade of Markesan, Darlene (Stanley) Kwiatkoske of Ripon; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Johanna Stindt; and a brother.
A visitation for Myrtle will be held from 3:00 until 5:00 pm and again from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, October 20, 1987 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
A funeral service for Myrtle will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 21, 1987 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Ripon.
