Nancy F. Kirtland, 67, of 550 N. Douglas St., Ripon, passed away Sunday evening, October 16, 2005, at her home after a long battle with cancer. She passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by friends and family.
She was born in Melrose Park, IL on July 15, 1938, a daughter to William and Phillis (Tansley) Liptow. She was a graduate of Proviso East High School in Maywood, IL. On October 18, 1953, she married Roger L. Kirtland in Maywood. Nancy retired as a customer service representative for Miller Fluid Power in Bensonville, Illinois. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Ripon.
Survivors include her mother, Phyllis Liptow of Oshkosh; children, Bob Kirtland of Kennesaw, GA, Jeff Kirtland of Seattle, WA and Dan Kirtland of Wood Dale, IL; grandson, Brandon Kirtland; 2 step-grandsons, Steven and Tim Hill; sister, Judi Lund and niece, Melissa Lund, both of Green Lake. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Kirtland and father, William Liptow.
Funeral service for Nancy F. Kirtland will be at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 19, 2005, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon with Rev. Bryan L. Fritsch officiating. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Mount Emblem Cemetery, Elmhurst, IL. A memorial has been established.
