Neal D. Bradley, 84, of 342 Bellville St., Ripon, died Monday, May 16, 1988, at Appleton Medical Center in Appleton.
He was born March 30, 1904, in the Town of Utica to Frank and Rose Weed Bradley. He was educated in the Town of Utica.
On February 14, 1942, he married Dorothea Warren. Mr. Bradley had lived in Ripon since 1923. He was a retired auto dealer.
Mr. Bradley was a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Ripon; he was known as Ripons Mr. Baseball promoting the Ripon Robbins and Bradley Fluid Drive baseball teams. He was an ardent supporter of local and state baseball and athletic programs. He was Ripons self proclaimed Biggest Little Car Collector. He drove his 58 Ford Skyliner in many parades and civic events. He was also an active boxing and wrestling promoter in Ripon.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothea; two sons, Douglas of Ripon and Marland of New Port Richey, FL; three daughters, Cheryl Miller of Ripon, Barbara Bradley of Markesan and Roseann Reynolds of Byron, IL; 12 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; three brothers, John of Oshkosh, Clark of Oshkosh and MacDougal of Omro; one sister, Ida Anklam of Omro. He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call from 3 8:00 pm on Wednesday, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 19, 1988, at Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon with the Reverend Joel Diemer officiating.
