Mrs. Nellie A. Hinz, 99, of Plymouth, died Thursday, May 11, 1989. She had resided with her daughter and son in law in Sheboygan and Plymouth for the past 17 years.
She was born December 12, 1889 in Markesan, Wisconsin, the daughter of August and Augusta Werth Schlender.
Mrs. Hinz was educated in the Ripon area. On October 5, 1910 she married Arthur F. Hinz who preceded her in death in 1969. Mrs. Hinz was a housewife and lived in the Ripon area all her married life. She was a life member of Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon and a member of the Guild.
Survivors include three daughters, Gisela Youell and Lorraine Luetke both of Ripon, and Mrs. Irvin (Loretta) Schroeder of Plymouth, WI. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hinz was preceded in death by one son, one sister, and one brother.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00 pm at Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon with The Rev. Harley C.W. Tretow officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
Friends may call Friday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon and on Saturday from noon until the hour of Services at the church.
A memorial has been established for the church and for the Wisconsin Camp for the Blind.
