Nellie "Mae" Schrader

Mrs. Nellie “Mae” Schrader, age 76, of Ripon, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 1991, at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac.

She was born March 9, 1914, in Redgranite, a daughter of Herman and Kathryn (Borst) Schmackle. On August 22, 1936, she married Lyle Schrader in Berlin.

Mrs. Schrader worked as a sewer at the Ripon Knitting Works for many years. She also had been a receptionist at Ripon College. She was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church, Ripon and was a Charter Member of the Ripon Lioness Club.

Survivors include her husband; one son, Earl Schrader and one daughter, LaVonne (David) Butler, both of Ripon; eight grandchildren; three sisters, Mabel Pierotti of Berlin, Kathryn Zinke of Waukesha and Jean of Sussex, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.

Friends may call Tuesday from 4 until 8:00 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Schrader will be held Wednesday, January 9, 1991 at 1:00 p.m., at the Immanuel United Methodist Church, Ripon. The Reverend Robert B. LeCount will officiate and interment will be in Garden of the Cross Cemetery, Ripon. Memorials may be directed to Immanuel United Methodist Church, Ripon.
