Nellie Sauer

Nellie May Sauer, age 96, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 1992, at Parkview Care Center, Ripon.
She was born May 13, 1895, in the Town of Rushford to Ralph and Estelle (Fellows) Gleffe. On March 12, 1918, she married Herman Sauer, and he preceded her in death on March 25, 1980. Mrs. Sauer was a housewife and had resided in the Ripon Area since 1934. She was a member of the Poy Sippi Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Merle Olson and Mary Hare, both of Ripon, and Estella Mugridge of Brandon; two sons, Herman of Borth, and Robert of Neshkoro; eighteen grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, two daughters, three sons, one grandson, and three great-grandsons.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Sauer will be held Monday, February 10, 1992 at 2:00 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Pastor Norman Yoder will officiate and interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon. Friends may call Sunday, February 9, 1992 from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A memorial in her name has been established for the Poy Sippi Seventh Day Adventist Church.
