Norma V. Gatzke, age 61, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Friday, August 29, 1986, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
Norma was born September 27, 1924, in Green Lake, WI, the daughter of Harry and Edna (Schultz) Moore. She married Harold “Tator” Gatzke on August 24, 1946 in Ripon. Norma worked as an inspector for Speed Queen for 27 years and then for Green Giant in Ripon. She also bartended at the Davis Hotel for several years. Norma was a member of Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon, was a past president of the Ripon Fire Department Auxiliary and the Eagles Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, Harold and four sisters, Vernice Sawyer of Oshkosh, Mabel Alvin of Green Lake, Viola Arnold of California and Mary Schulke of Eldorado. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
Visitation for Norma will be held on Monday, November 1, 1986, from 6 – 9:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Norma will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 1986, at 11:00 am with Reverend James Mohr officiating. Interment will follow at Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake. A memorial has been established.
