Norma Luella Goeden, age 88, formerly of the Town of Rosendale, died Thursday, March 23, 2000, at Miller Home Care, Ripon.
She was born December 28, 1911, in the Town of St. Marie, a daughter to Adam Julius and Bertha (Ahrens) Weiss. She attended school at Welsh Hill School. On August 15, 1937, she married Herbert P. Goeden in the Town of Brooklyn, and he passed away in September 1993. Norma was a homemaker all of her life. She was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church and the Mary Martha Circle.
Survivors include 2 sons, Ronald (Rita) Goeden and Howard (Jackie) Goeden, Ripon; 1 daughter, Noreen Liptow, Ripon; stepson, Donald Goeden, Indianapolis, IN; 10 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 11 step-great-grandchildren; brother, Edgar (Evelyn) Weiss, Green Lake; 2 sisters, Esther Hoffman, Green Lake and Dorothy Liptow, Ripon; sister-in-law, Nellie Romano, Milwaukee; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Herbert Goeden, and great-grandchild, Vanessa Keys.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 26 from 4 until 7 PM at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon, and again on Monday from 10 AM until the time of the service at the church. Funeral service for Norma Goeden will be 11 AM on Monday, March 27, 2000, at Immanuel United Methodist Church, Ripon. The Rev. David Busker will officiate, and interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon. A memorial has been established.
