Norma I. McKeith, 89, formerly of Ripon, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2005 at Alterra Wynwood in Madison, WI.
Mrs. McKeith was born August 16, 1915 in Ripon the daughter of Roy J. and Ida (Nehls) Nellis. Norma graduated from Ripon High School in 1933. Following graduation she worked for the National Forensic League, Speed Queen Corp. for eight years, and was secretary to the Ripon College Athletic Director for 16 years. She married Arthur McKeith on August 21, 1937 and they made their home in Ripon. Norma and her husband traveled extensively and presented Travelogs to groups in the area. She was a member of the Ripon Science Club, the Ripon Garden Club, and had been an active member in Immanuel United Methodist Church, church groups and the choir.
Norma is survived by her son; David (Mary) McKeith of Madison, WI, and her daughter; Diane (Dr. Gordon) Myrah of Brookings, OR, five grand daughters; Michelle, Janice, Emma Louise, Dawn and Amy. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers; Lyman L. and Loren, one grandson and one granddaughter.
Funeral services for Norma McKeith will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2005 at 11:00 am at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with the Rev. Neil S. Wilson officiating. Friends may call on Saturday at the funeral home from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Immanuel Untied Methodist Church in Ripon.
