Norma Zick

Miss Norma W. Zick, age 88, Ripon, died Wednesday evening, November 28, 2001, at Hilltop Manor in Ripon under the care of hospice.
She was born August 25, 1913, in Ripon, the daughter of Robert and Wilhelmina (Kuhs) Zick. She graduated from Ripon High School in 1930. Norma worked in her early years at Press Office and Shoppers Guide from 1930-1943. For most of her working years she was a secretary at the Ripon Knitting Works from 1943-1973. Until her retirement in 1994, Norma worked at the National Forensic League in Ripon. Miss Zick was a lifelong member of Our Savior’s United Church of Christ and sang in the Senior Choir for 69 years. Norma loved to travel, play bridge, and sew and she made most of her clothes.
She is survived by close friends and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral service for Norma Zick, will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2001, at Our Savior’s United Church of Christ, Ripon with Rev. Rebecca A. Johnston officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. A memorial has been established.
