Norman Belau, age 73, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 1991 at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
He was born August 12, 1918 in Kingston, WI, to Henry and Bessie (West) Belau. He married Orleen Klingbeil on October 17, 1942 and farmed in the Town of Metomen for 49 years.
Norman was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church, Ripon, and a past Trustee of the church, past member of Osborn School board and past Leader for Spring Valley 4-H club.
Survivors include his wife, Orleen; two daugthers: Kay (William) Zinecker of Ripon, Dawn ( Kevin) Moore of Rosendale, two sons: Chris (Bev) of Ripon and Barrie (Debby) of Ripon; eight grandchildren, Darren, Jaime, and Jill Zinecker, Stephanie, Angie, Heather, Clint, and Mandy Belau; two sisters: Inez Saniter of Beaver Dam and Arlene (Ervin) Koehn of Green Lake. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Merlin.
Funeral Services for Mr. Belau will be Friday, December 27, 1991, at Immanuel United Methodist Church, Ripon at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Robert LeCount officiating. Interment will be in Bethel Reeds Corner Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. A memorial has been established in Norman Belaus name.
